Wolverhampton Magazine Christmas Shoot

Hannah Azzopardi, from our School Street salon, created these two gorgeous styles to get the party started for Wolverhampton Magazine readers.

The Christmas Party Hair photo-shoot took place on our 40th Anniversary on Wednesday 5th October, which was a wonderful way to celebrate the event. “Being chosen for November’s cover story was the icing on the cake,” said salon owner Gary Edge. “We’re so proud of Hannah and her two fabulous looking models.”

‘Tis the season to sparkle…

Hannah first styled her sister Evie Azzopardi:

THE STYLE: Was created with a small wand then the curls are teased out a little and the hair is backcombed for more body. It’s all about creating a stylish look that is not too formal.

Hannah says: “Tighter curls are coming back. People don’t want the hair to look too finished. It’s definitely a look that can be recreated at home.”

PRODUCTS: Hannah uses Wella Thermal Image heat protection spray before she set the curls with the wand. She finishes off with Wella Stay Style finishing spray and Glam Mist for hold and extra shine.

Aimee Kelly a trainee hairdresser at the salon, models the second look:

THE STYLE: An updo. Curl the hair with straighteners for extra movement and body. Hannah uses plaits and twists for extra effect but the look is still quite relaxed. The long fringe is allowed to sweep across and keeps the look soft and more natural.

Hannah says: “If you want to make a big effort, the updo is the perfect look. Aimee’s hair is great for putting up because it is not too heavy.”

PRODUCTS: Hannah uses Wella Thermal Image heat protection spray before she softly curls the hair. She finishes off with Wella Stay Style finishing spray and Glam Mist, again for hold and extra shine.
