Laura takes big steps to raise money for cancer patients

Laura from our Kingswinford salon has recently completed a 15-mile sponsored walk from Wolverhampton to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham to raise money for cancer patients. Joined by 21 other gallant walkers the fantastic total of £6,009 was raised of which Laura alone raised £1,200!

Laura's boyfriend Jake developed testicular cancer in February last year and was treated in a special ward for 16-25 year olds at the Queen Elizabeth. Thanks to the fantastic care at the hospital Jake has made a full recovery. Laura decided to raise money for the special ward to help to make patients' stay as comfortable as possible.
